Sun Java(TM) Web Infrastructure Suite - Provides an affordable, quick-start approach to Web services, with the simplicity, ease-of-use, and out-of-the-box integration of a more fully featured platform. Designed as a secure, reliable platform for enterprise work group and departmental applications, the Web Infrastructure Suite also addresses midmarket solutions. Channel partnerships are key to making web services solutions from Sun more broadly available and enabling customers to go to market more quickly.

The perpetual pricing option for the Web Infrastructure Suite provides a pricing option with limitations of single server use (up to 4 CPUs), up to 10,000 Directory Server entries, and up to 10,000 Access Manager users. The previously announced perpetual license has existing limitations of single server use (up to 2 CPUs) with 5,000 user and 5,000 entry restrictions.
