Sun Java(TM) System Active Server Pages 4.0

Sun Java System Active Server Pages 4.0 software adds support for Microsoft's Active Server Pages technology to the Java System and Apache web servers. Java System Active Server Pages is designed to be fully compatible with content created by ASP developers or users of popular web authoring tools (e.g., Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Studio MX, Adobe GoLive!). Product includes a cross-platform ASP runtime (with bundled VBScript/JScript v5.5 scripting engines), support for ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), ODBC database drivers for all major databases, and a COM-to-Java bridge.

NOTE: Serial numbers are platform specific and ship only with the Media Kit. The License Only (LCO) part number requires the purchase of a Media Kit to obtain a serial number.

NOTE:The Sun Java System Web Server includes a free license for Java System Active Server. A separate license is not required.

1. The order process remains the same as it is today. All eFulfillment parts have their own SKU numbers (aka Marketing Part Numbers). These will be booked just like any other part on the Sun pricelist is today. The confirmation emails and tokens are generated systematically by an internal process. No partner intervention is required. Please note that electronic ordering (EDI &B2B) is out of scope for EMEA. As product delivery is dependant upon receipt of the entitlement email, please note that the email address of the person downloading the product is required. Please include on the purchase order the name, address, e-mail, phone and fax number of the person who will be downloading the software. Sun will need it to send the confirming e-mail that contains the information to download the software. Delivery for eFulfillment products is recognized at the time the customer is sent their entitlement email for the purchase by Sun. This recognition occurs irrespective of the time when the customer actually downloads the software.
2. This electronic software download part number cannot be ordered with any packaged media kit part numbers for the same software version.

For US only: This electronic software download part number should not be ordered with any media kit part numbers for the same software version. If customers wish to order both part numbers for the same software version, then sales tax will be charged on the electronic software download license and media kit.
