Sun Java (TM) Desktop System - Linux Platform Edition
The Sun Java Desktop System is a comprehensive, secure, highly-affordable enterprise desktop solution that consists of a fully integrated client environment based on open source components and industry standards, including a GNOME desktop environment, StarOffice Office Productivity Suite, Mozilla browser, Evolution mail and calendar, Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE platform) and the operating system. Also included with purchase is a suite of developer tools, and with the Linux multi user product, included is a suite of desktop management tools. Java Desktop System is available with your choice of two platforms: the Linux operating system or the Solaris 9 x86 Platform for Sun Java Workstation users.
