Sun ONE XML Adapters allow applications throughout the customer's environment to gain access to the valuable data within Enterprise Information Systems and other target applications in a uniform, standards-basedway. Sun ONE XML Adapters accept access requests as XML messages sent over HTTP protocol, parse XML requests to determine the processing to perform with the target application, using the target application's interface to perform the access, and compose and return the XML response message to the requester via HTTP. This open and flexible interface to integrating a applications can be used with the Sun ONE Integration Server.

Note: An engagement with Sun(TM) ONE Professional Services or a Sun ONE Integrator Partner is required to install, customize and configure the Sun ONE XML Adapters. Pricing for each engagement will vary.

NOTE 1: The following Sun ONE XML Adapters are available through Sun Professional Services and /or Sun ONE Systems Integrator Partners. Customers will have to contract with Sun Professional Services or Sun Systems Integrator partners for an engagement to purchase, install,customize, configure the Sun ONE XML Adapter in the customer's particular environment. Pricing for the SunONE XML Adapter engagements will be determined along typicalSun Professional Services guidelines and will vary from engagementto engagement.

NOTE 2: Technical support for the Sun ONE XML Adapters is limited to email only. Bronze, Silver and Gold level support contracts should not be sold with the Sun ONE XML Adapters. Level of support limited to fix product critical problems in base product, and does not include any future product enhancements or support of any customization made during installation and configuration.

NOTE 3: An engagement with Sun Professional Services or a Sun ONE Integrator Partner is required to install,customize and configure the Sun ONE XML Adapters. Pricingfor each engagement will vary.

NOTE 4: Other Adapters may also be available. Contact your local Sun Professional Services representative for more information. In addition to pre-built Sun ONE XMLAdapters, Sun Professional Services will be equipped with a Sun ONE XML Adapter Designer Tool that will be used todevelop new Adapters requested by customers.
