Sun Java(TM) System Federation Manager
Sun Java System Federation Manager is a focused, easy deploy solution for creating and extending trust across federated partner networks. In these federated networks, Identity Providers typically partner with Service Providers to deliver applications and services to their users. Federation Manager is deployed at a Service Provider site in order to more securely and privately give users access to these applications and services. Federation Manager uses standard protocols, including SAML and Liberty, to create interoperability across many partner sites.
Federation Manager provides 3 key features: partner single sign on, identity federation, and global session management. The product enables a number of capabilities to support these three main features.
