StarOffice 8.0
The StarOffice 8 Office Suite delivers a mature, feature-rich, full-function office productivity suite for a surprisingly low price while offering a full range of world-class service and support from Sun Microsystems, Inc. It is highly compatible with Microsoft Office file formats (it can read them and write them), and delivers an exceptional cross-platform solution with versions available for Microsoft Windows, Solaris Operating System, and Linux OS. With the significant enhancements introduced in StarOffice 8 a�� in the areas of usability, productivity, and Microsoft Office compatibility the combination of high value, interoperability, and low price is too irresistible to ignore any longer.
With this release, StarOffice 8 significantly improves MS Office compatibility by offering conversion of Microsoft Office macros, support for a host of Microsoft Powerpoint features and better import of headers footers, tables and pivot tables. There are also many ease of use and productivity enhancements, including a mail-merge wizard, a new database user interface, easier installation and administration and improvements to the PDF export.

Ordering Notes:
There are new pricing tiers that impact ordering. Instead of ordering a specific tier (ex: 25 RTU user licenses or 150 RTU user licenses), you can order an exact amount of RTU licenses (ex: 435 or 2316 RTU user licenses) for your customer. The price per user is determined by the band - the bands, along with the price for each band, are listed in the part number section in this Intro. The quantity is then entered to get the total price.
